FUFA Women's Cup Return After Three Years - Live from groundThe FUFA Women’s Cup has returned for the first time in three years after the draw was held on Wednesday at FUFA House in Mengo. This, isn’t the Women’s version of the Stanbic Uganda Cup which is competed for the Men’s sides. It was last held in 2018/19 season when Makerere University (She Mak) beat Lady Doves at Lugogo.
This will be the fourth edition of the competition, with Olila (2017) and UCU (2018) previous winners. The 2022/23 edition will feature teams from FUFA Women Super League (10), FUFA Women Elite League (11), FUFA Regional Leagues (9), one team from Buganda 4th division and the other being a non- league team. The round of 32 fixtures will be played between 18th -25th February while the round of 16 games will happen between 18th-19th March.
